There are many reasons why – unexpected change of circumstances, family break-up, illness, even allergies – all unforeseen when someone first gets a Lappy, but it can and does happen.
We don’t often need to look for a new home for a Lappy, but we are here to help when such circumstances arise.
They will talk through the situation with you, and if needed, help you find a loving home for your Lapphund.
All conversations and outcomes are treated with the utmost confidentiality.
If you are interested in having a young or older dog that needs to be re-homed, then please get in touch to find out more and register your interest.
Luckily we currently have no Lapphunds looking for rehoming. But if you feel you could take one of our rehoming Lapphunds into your lives, please register your interest.
If you’d like to help Lapphunds that need to be re-homed, there are a couple of ways you can help:
Make a donation to the Health and Welfare Fund, you can include it to your membership application or renewal or by sending your contribution to our Treasurer.
Volunteer to be an area co-ordinator for rescue and rehoming, we would love to talk to you. Please see contacts for details.
