The FL Club of G.B. is holding it's third Open Breed show on 7th September 2008 at Solihull Equestrian Center. Judge Mr. M Tuominen (Finland). All club members will receive a schedule with their summer newsletter. Non members can obtain schedules from club secretary Irene Green and the schedule will be put on the website to download in the next week or so.
Everyone is welcome to enter, there are junior handling classes and a
huge amount of trophies to be won (available to paid up club members
only). This is probably the largest gathering of Finnish Lapphunds that you will see in GB....we had over 70+ entries last year! There is a cafe on site, loads of space to exercise your dogs.
The show
is undercover but please bring warm clothes if the weather is
unfavourable. |

The Club is holding a Finnish Lapphund breed
seminar on Saturday11th October
at the Jaguar Social Club. Coventry.
In the morning there will be Hands on
Assessment given by Dr John
Stevenson who is a KC Accredited Trainer.
This assessment is a KC requirement for anyone
wishing to judge any breed, It will be followed by the Finnish Lapphund
breed specific seminar in the afternoon.
Cost for the Hands on Assessment only seminar is £10 per student. The FL breed seminar costs will be Club Member Student £12.00. Non Club Member Student £17.00. Limited Spectator places £10.00. Tea/Coffee on arrival is included in these prices. Please contact Club Secretary Irene Green for any
further details and to book your place for
either or both of these seminars.
Places will be allocated on a 1st come 1st served basis, with Club members
taking priority so please book as soon as
possible.
Reasonably priced food
will be available to order on the day from the
Jaguar Social Club.
