Rules and Code of Ethics

The Club members follow a set of Rules and Ethics. The Ethics have come directly from the Kennel Club or have evolved over the years within the breed club.

The Rules set out how the club is governed and include sections on health tests for breeders to follow, membership, elections, voting, the committee, the AGM and accounts.

The Ethics of the club are focussed on the responsibilities of owners and breeders to maintain high standards of health and welfare for Finnish Lapphunds and to be responsible owners. All members of the club commit to following the Rules and Ethics.
